OUR 2014 Education REPORT
In 2014, our team produced our Community Health Equity Report on Educational Policies in an effort to examine how well the public education system is addressing our highest need neighborhoods. Specifically, the report looks at neighborhood characteristics, school discipline policies, and possible effects of school choice. The report was released on November 15, 2014 at the GradNation Community Summit.
OUR 2012 Community Equity and Health REPORT In 2012, our team, along with the Joint Center for Political & Economic Studies, released the report PLACE MATTERS for Health in Orleans Parish: Ensuring Opportunities for Good Health for All. This report outlines policy recommendations that serve as directives for our mission. You can access the report at http://www.equityinallplaces.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/CHER-Final-text.pdf.
